OUR STORY - ELEVATOR PITCH STYLE
Ingrid and Adam met in September 2016 and quickly hit it off – with Ingrid taking Adam to her family’s favorite restaurant Machiavelli on their first date (bold move). Fast forward a whole full week, to let’s say their maybe fourth date at a nightclub in downtown Seattle. The scene – a dark, lively, and loud nightclub, where the music was thumping. In the middle of dancing Adam leaned in and said something that would set forth the beginning of an epic life-long adventure: "Hey! So...I got a new opportunity with work and I’m moving to India in three weeks. I think you said that you’ve always wanted to go to India – you should come over and check it out with me.” Most people wouldn’t have bought the plan ticket, but Ingrid was the only one to come visit Adam during his 4-months living in India. That one decision set the stage for the spontaneous exploration that hasn’t stopped since then.
Adam and Ingrid’s love grew through adventures in Iceland (celebrating Halloween driving across the country in a van dressed like a ninja and skeleton), Bali (cruising on a custom built motorcycle and taking early morning surf lessons), Mexico (from getting almost stuck at the pyramids to purchasing literally everything sold by the beach vendors), New Orleans (for a whole week - because volcanoes are real), Japan (where we invented the "Kimono dance" and drank whiskey like Bill Murray), and at home enjoying all of the simple and wonderful moments of each season of the year with their family, friends, and favorite human stuck in a dog body: June. The best part: the story has just begun. Cheers to celebrating the next chapter together!
